Digital Transition Survey

The Third Irish National Survey  to benchmark the level of Building Information Modelling (BIM) adoption in Ireland,  undertaken by CitA in partnership with Enterprise Ireland was released in Q4 of 2017. The results reveal a rise in the number of organisations that have been impacted by the UK mandate. 85% of the sample, compared to 66% in 2015, believe that Ireland should follow the UK’s footsteps and mandate BIM. Current Client unawareness of the value proposition of BIM remains the top barrier for organisations

The Second Irish National Survey released in the 4th quarter of 2016,  revealed that 76% of respondents possessed confidence in their organisation’s BIM skills and knowledge. 79% of the sample also reported an increase in demand for BIM in Ireland.

The First Irish National Survey to benchmark the level of Building Information Modelling (BIM) adoption in Ireland, undertaken by CitA in partnership with Enterprise Ireland was released in 2015. Some of the key findings include that 

  • 67% of the industry sample possessed confidence in their skills and knowledge to deliver BIM.
  • 27% reported that they have knowledge of BIM, and are gradually improving their BIM skills.
  • 75% of the research sample identified a demand for BIM.
